LO: Create an Uh-Oh monster for a Peckham location

UK artist Uh-Oh, also known as Nick Shove, is from Leicester and specialises in painting graffiti art and characters on canvas.

His monsters start life as a doodle in his sketchpad and after some tweaking, erasing and re-drawing the lucky ones get penned in and marked out. The monsters are eventually created using a mixture of spray-paints, paint pens, markers and acrylics. He also paints on skateboards, shoes and anything else he can!
Today, students were set the challenge to create their very own Uh-Oh inspired character and place it in a Peckham location.
Wow! The children have combined bold colours with black out-lines to their monsters, just like Uh-Oh, this combination is so effective! They really enjoyed recognising their local area too!

Even Uh-Oh himself, (Nick Shove) thinks Art Club's creations are great!! Check out his twitter response below... So proud! :)
